Hi, I’m Matthew — an undergraduate researcher and systems practitioner splitting my time between IT systems engineering, data science, and hands-on RF/embedded electronics. - Reproducible Computing: Literate programming (EMACS) and data pipelines combining R, Python, and SQL.

- QRP CW Transceiver: From Toroids to On-Air Telemetry — Assembling a discrete-component RF transceiver kit from scratch, hand-building a matching antenna, and confronting the physical realities of RF design.
- Robotics: Retrofitting the BoE Bot for AI — Exploration of robotics fundamentals and embedded Linux for turbocharging experiments with the BoE educational chassis.
- Morse Code: A Data Science Perspective — A semester-long project leveraging Data Science principles (ETL) and Literate Programming techniques to construct a DSP pipeline for analyzing CW.
- Common Lisp: Algorithmic Sudoku Solver — Is Common Lisp all McCarthy hoped it’d be? Is Common Lisp “the perfect language for an AI world?” These core questions spurred me to investigate this unique language.
