Systems Engineering, Data Science, and RF & Embedded Systems Projects

Welcome

Hi, I’m Matthew — an undergraduate researcher and systems practitioner splitting my time between IT systems engineering, data science, and hands-on RF/embedded electronics. This site collects the projects, and occasional field notes, that come out of that mix. Read more about me, or dig into what I’ve been building below.

What I’m Currently Working On

Research & Technical Work

  • Systems & Local Inference: Workstation-scale LLM workflows, containerized services, and Linux systems architecture.
  • Migrating Production IT Deployments to Cloud-native Management: ADDS must go, EntraID is here to stay. It’s time to migrate, folks… ☺️
  • Improving Operational Data Integrity with Verkada (R): Manually tracking employee attendance is tedious! Verkada’s AI-enabled cameras are here to help!
  • Reproducible Computing: Literate programming (EMACS) and data pipelines combining R, Python, and SQL.

Beyond the Terminal

  • Current Coursework: Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science @ Lyon College; Independent Study
  • Field Notes: Occasional write-ups on amateur radio, DIY mechanics, and outdoor projects.
